(Required)
Our organization consents to the terms of the partnership and I am authorized to act on our behalf.
The Sensory Accessible Technology Initiative (SAT-I) invites technology companies, software developers, hardware manufacturers, and digital service providers to participate in an ongoing effort to improve sensory accessibility in technology.
Technology Partners maintain a direct channel of communication with the International Misophonia Foundation (IMF), receive research findings and accessibility recommendations, and have opportunities to contribute feedback to developing sensory accessibility guidelines.
Participation is free. Organizations are not required to make financial contributions or commit to specific product changes.
What Does Partnership Entail?
As a SAT-I Technology Partner, your organization agrees to:
Establish a point of contact: Designate a representative or department to receive communications from the initiative.
Receive accessibility updates: Stay informed about sensory accessibility research, accommodation preferences, identified barriers, and recommendations developed through SAT-I.
Review relevant guidelines and recommendations: Consider proposed sensory accessibility guidance relevant to your organization’s technologies, products, or services.
Participate in consultation when feasible: Remain available for reasonable discussions about sensory accessibility, technical considerations, and potential accommodations.
Maintain an active partnership: Keep contact information current and confirm continued participation annually.
Benefits of Becoming a Technology Partner
Participating organizations receive:
Official SAT-I Technology Partner recognition, including permission to display the SAT-I Partner badge.
Optional public recognition on the International Misophonia Foundation’s website, including a company logo and website link with the organization’s permission.
Access to relevant sensory accessibility findings, including aggregated community feedback and accommodation preferences.
Opportunities to review proposed guidelines and provide technical input during development.
Ongoing updates concerning sensory accessibility recommendations, research, and emerging concerns.
Opportunities for collaboration with IMF on sensory accessibility questions relevant to their technologies.
Partners are welcome to publish their own announcement, display the SAT-I Partner badge, or link to the initiative, but public announcements are not a condition of participation.
Participation and Independence
SAT-I Technology Partnership is a voluntary, non-financial relationship focused on communication, consultation, and the development of practical sensory accessibility guidance.
Technology Partners are not required to implement every recommendation, disclose proprietary information, or guarantee specific accessibility improvements.
Participation does not constitute accessibility certification, regulatory compliance verification, or endorsement of an organization’s products or services by IMF.
